10,000 Miles

For the Lincoln Navigator, the recommended oil change interval is every 10,000 miles or 12 months. This visit also includes several inspections and upkeep tasks to check the vehicle's key systems and parts, including:

• Tire rotation
• Tire wear and tread depth inspection
• Multipoint inspection
• Automatic transmission fluid level check
• Brake pads, rotors, hoses, and parking brake inspection
• Engine cooling system, including fluid strength and hose inspection
• Exhaust system and heat shields inspection
• Front axle, half-shaft boots, and U-joints inspection
• Steering linkage, ball joints, suspension, tie-rod ends, and driveshaft inspection
• Check wheels and related components for abnormal noise, wear, looseness, or drag
• Cabin air filter and engine air filter inspections

Your new Lincoln Navigator is installed with an Intelligent Oil-Life Monitor, which determines when your engine oil needs changing based on your driving habits and other important factors. As a result, an oil change may be required sooner or later than 10,000 miles. The system monitors your vehicle's use and alerts you when service is due, helping avoid unnecessary costs and environmental waste. Even so, Lincoln strongly suggests not exceeding one year between oil changes.

20,000 - 30,000 Miles

Once you hit the 20,000-mile mark, your SUV's cabin air filter should be replaced. The engine air filter should be replaced later at 30,000 miles. Keep in mind that the engine and cabin air filters may require more frequent inspection and replacement when driving in dusty or dirty conditions regularly.

60,000 Miles

For severe service, replace the spark plugs and change the transfer case fluid.

100,000 Miles

Replace the spark plugs and inspect the accessory drive belt(s). After the initial inspection, check the belt(s) every other oil change until replacement is needed.

150,000 Miles

• Change the automatic transmission fluid
• Change the front axle fluid and transfer case fluid (4WD models)
• Change the rear axle fluid
• Replace the accessory drive belt(s)

It's important to note that the transfer case, front axle, and rear axle in your Navigator do not require regular maintenance under normal driving conditions. Fluid replacement may be necessary after extended severe-duty driving, water submersion, or if a leak is present.

200,000 Miles

Replace the engine coolant at 10 years or 200,000 miles, whichever comes first. After the initial replacement, change the coolant every 5 years or 100,000 miles.

Severe service refers to driving that places additional stress, heat, and wear on a vehicle's engine and other components and may result in shorter intervals. This includes frequent trips of less than five to 10 miles, extreme temperatures, dusty or muddy roads, extended idling, or driving with heavy loads or while towing.
